Vernon Unger Obituary, Former Industrial and Systems Engineering has Died – Death
Vernon Unger Death, Obituary – When we learnt that Dr. Vernon Unger, who had previously served as the department head for Industrial and Systems Engineering, had passed away, it came as a complete and utter shock to us. His death was brought on by a protracted battle with disease. The news of his departure has left us with a profound sense of grief in our hearts. We will miss him terribly. Dr. Unger was in charge of the day-to-day operations of the organization while he was serving as head of the department, a position he held from 1979 until 1999. His tenure as head of the department began in 1979 and continued until 1999.
Those members of the department’s staff who are still employed by the organization and who worked with Dr. Unger in the past have positive recollections of the time they spent with him and continue to talk positively about their interactions with both him and the department. This is true whether or not they worked directly with Dr. Unger. “Dr. Unger worked so hard to bring our curriculum into the current period and served as department leader for 20 years,” says Professor Alice Smith, who also works in the same department as Dr. Unger and who also works in the same department as Dr. Unger.
“Dr. Unger worked so hard to bring our curriculum into the current period,” says Professor Alice Smith, who also works in the same department as Dr. Unger and who also works in the same department “Dr. Unger exerted a great deal of effort to bring our course material into the modern period,” A complement that has been paid to him is that “He was also the kindest of persons,” which is something that we have been advised to say about him. Furthermore, “He was the nicest person you could ever wish to have the pleasure of meeting.” We will continue to keep his family in our thoughts and prayers not only during this difficult time but also in the days that lie ahead of us, as we have been doing up until this point.
