Tim Shannon Obituary, Millville NJ, Tim Shannon Has Died – Death
Tim Shannon Obituary, Death – Many people will remember Tim Shannon for having served as the Mayor of Millville for a number of years, as a result of which he will be remembered. Before that, he had already established a reputation in the Millville sports community as “The Voice.” He oversaw all of the significant athletic competitions that took place in our hometown. And because he took such pleasure in listening to me call the games, he made it a point to give me as many opportunities as possible to do so, even during the Babe Ruth World Series, which was hosted in Millville. The first time he had me on the show, I was probably around 13 years old, and we talked about my career as a sports commentator.
He had a show on QBC every Monday called All Star Sports Talk. Following that, he drove me to my home and then began to tell me how pleased he was of me when I got there. That thrilling experience will remain ingrained in my memory till the day I die… right down to that very instant. He was the very greatest there has ever been, and he embodied all that is admirable about our sleepy little town.
Nevertheless, I am quite certain that he was much more than that to his family, notably to my good friends Mac and Amie who I’ve known for a very long time. I am so sorry for your loss, but please know that he touched the lives of a great many people and that he will always be remembered as one of the very greatest people that any of us has ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will always be remembered as one of the very greatest people that any of us has ever had the pleasure of knowing. Dear friend, may you finally find rest. The next time I get the chance, I’ll make it a point to hit a home run in your honor.
