On the day that he died away on January 20, 2023, Thomas R. Russell, who had lived in the community of Addison, Massachusetts for the majority of his life and had reached the age of 57 on the day that he went away, passed away peacefully in the convenience of his own home. He spent the majority of his life in Addison, where he had lived since he was a child.
On March 29, 1965, he made his first appearance in the world in Bakersfield, which is situated inside the borders of the state of California. In honor of his late wife, Rebecca, who had already passed away before the birth of their son, he was also given the name Rebecca. Rebecca had passed away before the birth of their son.

Tom came to the conclusion that it was time for him to retire after 21 years of duty in the United States Navy, and he also desired to spend more time with his family. As a result, Tom made the decision to resign from the Navy. Tom’s exceptional actions allowed him to keep his high moral standing while he was serving his country in the Navy.
As a result, he received numerous commendations for his service. In the time that he spent in Addison, he was not only a volunteer firefighter but also the president of the Addison Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to these roles, he was a member of the Addison United Methodist Church, the Rockwood American Legion Post 279, and the Confluence VFW Post 7250.
He also served as a member of the Addison United Methodist Church Council. During this time, he was also active in the Confluence VFW Post 7250, where he held the position of member.
