Seth Atamian Obituary, Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School Former Principal Has passed away – Death

Seth Atamian Obituary, Death –  We regret to inform you of the demise of Mr. Seth Atamian, who served as a past principal at our Armenian Community School and was a dedicated supporter of the institution for many years. In the Fresno Unified School District, Seth served as an educator for a significant amount of time and was a principal who won awards. His first function at the Armenian Community School of Fresno was as a member of the educational steering council.

After the departure of the previous principal, Assadour Assadourian, Seth took over as the interim principal of the school. Because he was held in such high esteem by the teaching staff, administration, as well as the kids and parents, the board of directors quickly persuaded him to take on the role of principal. Seth is a recent addition to the Armenian Community School family, but he has already provided our institution with an abundance of knowledge, connections, and vitality.

He was instrumental in the establishment of a computer lab, the planning of camping trips to the Regional Learning Center in the Sierras, educational excursions to Sonora and the Hershey Chocolate Factory, as well as a life-changing trip to Armenia for the class of 2001, and the transportation for all of these activities. Rosie Bedrosian, who succeeded him as principal after he retired and who is now the vice chairwoman of our current board of education, was one of the many young student teachers that he served as a mentor.

He was also a mentor to many of the other young student teachers. Everyone will fondly remember and appreciate his unwavering commitment and enthusiasm toward education. During this trying time, we want his family and loved ones to know that we are sending our deepest condolences. We pray that God will bless the memories of the cherished former principal of our school.
