Ronald Burnett Death, Obituary – On Saturday, February 4, 2023, Ronald David Burnett, who had resided in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee all of his life, passed away at the NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg at the age of 68. He worked as a minister in addition to retiring from the emergency medical services field. He was born and raised in Brady, Texas. Mr. Burnett has been a member of the Gandy Volunteer Fire & Rescue Station 11 organization for his whole life. He was an integral part of the process that led to the station’s founding.
He served in the capacity of Chief for a considerable length of time. In addition to that, he was an active member of the SkyWarn team for Lawrence County. His wife, Thelma Luna Burnett, as well as his parents, William “Dave” and Lorene Mabry Burnett, both passed away before he did. His children also did not survive him.
He is the only member of his immediate family that is still alive today. He is survived by two sons, Jonathan Burnett and Will Burnett (Brooke); and four grandchildren, Kimberly Burnett, Jacoby Burnett, Liam Burnett, and Christopher Burnett, all of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. In addition, he is survived by a special friend and brother in Christ, Sidney Shull (Kristen), of Columbia, Tennessee. Jonathan Burnett and Will Burnett were his sons.
Will Burnett is married to Brooke Burnett. Jonathan Burnett and Will Bur Will Burnett was born in Columbia, Tennessee, while his brother Jonathan Burnett was born in Lawrenceburg. Both of them are Burnetts. Neal Funeral Home, which can be found in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at 231 North Military Avenue, is the establishment that will be in charge of making the essential arrangements.
At the Neal Funeral Home on the evening of Monday, February 6, 2023, from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening, members of the family will be there to meet and greet visitors. Ben Luna will preside over the funeral services that will be place at the Neal Funeral Home on the morning of Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at eleven o’clock, with the deceased person’s family and friends in attendance. After the service of final rites, the body of the deceased will be laid to rest at the Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
