Ray Renken Obituary, Former Coach, Board Member AYFL Football Has Died – Death

Ray Renken Death, Obituary – It is with a heavy heart that we must inform the members of our community about the passing of Coach Ray Renken, who was a parent, a friend, and a board member of our organization. Coach Renken will be much missed. It is difficult to convey in words the scope of the transformation he wrought in our community as a result of his actions.

Ray was a mentor who cared deeply about the well-being of the athletes he coached, and he demonstrated this commitment both on and off the playing field. gaining a great deal of fulfillment from the realization that the amount of time, patience, and love he has invested in his team throughout each and every game and practice has paid off in the form of significant growth on the part of the squad as a whole.

In spite of the fact that the organization was in a difficult financial position, he continued to volunteer his time in order to inspire younger people to take an interest in football, which is a commendable quality. It was clear that he was committed to the AYFL because of the efforts he made to improve and extend the reach of the organization, and we are very grateful to him for those efforts.

As evidenced by the fact that he has successfully organized off-season training, worked as a counselor at an AYFL camp, coached two teams during a single Ultimate Flag season, and led two successful tackle teams, Ray’s presence in the Ashburn football community over the past three seasons has been a blessing. This is evidenced by the fact that he has successfully led two successful tackle teams.

During this difficult time, we want Ray’s wife, son, daughters, and the rest of his family and friends to know that they have our support and prayers. We also want them to know that we are praying for them. In addition, we would like to extend our condolences and prayers to the players, families, and assistant coaches of the 2021 Tackle Irish, the 2022 Ultimate Flag Irish, the 2022 Tackle Steelers, and the 2022 Ultimate Flag Steelers, all of whom are mourning the loss of an extraordinary man together with his family.
