Michael Williamson Death, Obituary – On February 2, 2023, Michael Williamson, who once resided in Hartford, Alabama, passed away. He was 64. On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at eleven in the morning, funeral services will be held in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home. The Reverend Ernie Gray will preside over the ceremony.
The interment will take place at the Whitaker Church Cemetery, and the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva will be in charge of the arrangements. On Monday, February 6, 2023, the family will host a visitation at the funeral home from six in the evening until eight in the evening. Flowers are welcome as a donation.
Michael was born on November 3, 1958, to the late Freddie Williamson and Eunice Coker Williamson. Both of his parents have since passed away. He was an affectionate and loyal spouse, father, and grandfather to his family. After 20 years of working in the textile sector at Clinton Mills, Mike retired from Johnson Controls, where he had also worked for 20 years before retiring. He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, Alabama football (especially the Crimson Tide), and quality time spent with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by one brother, Gene Williamson, and one granddaughter, Hanna Lowrey. His parents were also his immediate predecessors. Mike is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Toni Williamson, of Hartford, Alabama; son, John Williamson, of Panama City, Florida; two daughters, Jessica Williamson Neese (Adam), of Panama City, Florida, and Mandi Hunter (Clay), of Hartford, Alabama; grandchildren, Jorja Hunter, Hayden Lowrey, Kaylynn Hunter, and Kinsley Williamson; four brothers, Wayne Williamson and Wade Williamson, both of Slocomb, Alabama; Ronnie Williams
