Mary Adams Obituary, Death – Mary E. Adams, a resident of Berwick, Pennsylvania, passed away at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on the 24th day of December in the year 2022. She was sixty years old at this point in her life. She was welcomed into the Shaffer family on the same day that she entered the world on November 13, 1962 in the city of Berwick. Her parents, Jack and Carol Ann (Nagy) Shaffer, were overjoyed to have a daughter join their family when she was born.

In 1981, she graduated from Columbia Montour Vocational School, where she had earned her diploma, making her a member of the graduating class for that year. Mary was a member of a number of different local fire companies in addition to being a member of the Danville Moose Lodge 1133 and the Danville VFW Post 75, both of which she belonged to as a social member. Both of these organizations were in Danville. Mary was a person who had a wide range of interests and hobbies. Some of her favorite things to do included going camping, collecting Longaberger baskets, and watching NASCAR races.

Those who are able to carry on Mary’s legacy include her husband Larry Roeder, her parents, her brother Jack A. Shaffer and his wife Tammy, who was also her caretaker in Berwick, her two grandchildren named Josephine and Wayland Adams, her parents’ lover Larry Roeder, and two close friends named LeeAnn and Matt Hunter. In addition, Mary’s legacy will live on through her brother Jack A. Shaffer and his wife Tammy.
