Martin Wyatt Death, Obituary – Martin Wyatt, who was 73 years old and had been battling an illness in recent years, went away, and the news of his passing has left us in a state of profound grief. All of his children, but especially his daughter Rebecca and his son Matthew, are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Martin was a devoted member of the Club’s committee for a number of years in the late 1990s, during which time period he worked in that capacity for the Club. He was quick on his feet, exuded charisma with his smile, and had the selflessness of a servant at heart. In addition to that, he was a proud uncle.
In addition to his participation in the soccer and tennis programs at Freeport High School, Wyatt was also a member of the school’s Concert Choir. It brought him great joy to participate in activities with his father such as farming, fishing, and setting off fireworks. The immovable force that led to the success of the Immanuel Lutheran Youth Program was Wyatt, who served in that role.
His wife, Caroline (Hales) Martin; his mother and father, Jeff and Jennifer Martin; his sisters Angela (Chris) McGee, Amanda Martin, Melissa (Matt) Kimber, Rebecca (Rick) Watkins, Nina (Gavin) Harn, and Katie and (Andy) Pronsati; and his nieces and nephews Triston, Conner, and Olivia McGee, Damon Hill, Drake and Dustin Garbe, Cameron Wilson, Seth and Derek B Paige Elizabeth Martin, his sister, and Jerry Martin, his grandfather on his father’s side and a member of the Martin family, both passed away before he did.
Funeral ceremonies are scheduled to get underway at 10:30 in the morning. The Immanuel Lutheran Church is the location of this event, which will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2015.
