Martha Jarrett Obituary, Death – On January 11, 2012, Martha Jarrett, a native of Stockbridge and longtime resident who had reached the age of 89 at the time of her departure, was taken from this world. She had lived in Stockbridge for a very long period. When she passed away, she had 89 years under her belt as a human being. Mrs. Jarrett was a stalwart participant in the community gathering that was held at The Rock Baptist Church, which was located in the same neighborhood in which they had their home.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Julius (Jim) Jarrett, a son named Terry Jarrett who resides in Stockbridge, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William Amerson and Mary Amerson, who reside in Mansfield, Georgia, and Bonnie Jo Corey and Gene Corey, who reside in Oregon. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
