Margaret Vieck Obituary, Resident of Vincennes, Indiana, has passed Away – Death

Margaret Vieck Death, Obituary – Margaret A. Vieck, who had lived in Vincennes, Indiana, for the majority of her 69 years, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. She was 69 years old. She had a strong commitment to her Christian faith, as well as to her family and friends. Her arrival into this world took place on April 12th, 1953. Her primary caretakers throughout her formative years were her mother Alma Myers, her grandmother Fern Myers, and her uncle Jerry Goffinet. Her mother was her primary caregiver. Her father’s name was Lewis Myers, and he was a lawyer.

Margaret was a part of the first graduating class from Rivet High School in 1971, the same year that she also earned a degree from the Indiana Business College.
In addition to being a member of the Ladies Knights of Columbus, she was also a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Her religious affiliation was with the Saint Francis Xavier Church. She was presented with the Brute Award in the year 1996 in recognition of the commitment she had made to the church.

Going to Disney World and the beach were two of Margaret’s all-time favorite vacation spots to share with the people she cared about the most. On January 5, 1974, she tied the knot with Ronald E. Vieck, and this marked the beginning of her life as a farmer’s wife. She kept the farm’s books and records for the following three decades, which was an invaluable service to the operation.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Ron; two of her children, daughter Brenda Vieck of Vincennes and son Matthew Vieck and his wife, Katie, of Tinley Park, Illinois; and two of her sisters, Sandra Harmon and her husband Tom, and Janet Kitchen. In addition, Margaret is survived by her husband, Ron; two of her children, son Matthew Vieck and his wife, Katie, of Tinley Park, Illinois; and two of her grandchildren. In addition to them, she is survived by her parents.

Her family consists of the following members: her husband’s father, Maurice Vieck; her sisters and brothers, Maureen, Peggy, Janie, Chrisy, Bill and Debbie, Ed and Lee Ann, Brian and Kathy, Alan and Jean, Lori and Christian; and a large number of nieces and nephews. Her husband’s father is the patriarch of the Vieck family. Additionally, the woman’s future father-in-law is a member of the Vieck family.
