Lanny Poffo Obituary, Former WWE wrestler and manager Died at age 68 – Death
Lanny Poffo Obituary, Death – Upon learning about Lanny Poffo’s passing, those who were fortunate enough to call him a friend and acquaintance will experience a tremendous sense of bereavement. I ran with Lanny in Tampa, and when I went to one of the meetings he attended in the United Kingdom, he was always very courteous to me. I also visited one of the meetings he attended in the United Kingdom.
When we finally did meet in the United Kingdom, he treated me with a great deal of respect and courtesy. This was always the same, regardless of whether we were in the United States or the United Kingdom. It made no difference. When I last saw him in April of the previous year in Liverpool, he not only gave off the distinct sense that he was in excellent physical shape, but he also gave off the distinct idea that he was having a fantastic time during the time that we were together. He went on to say that he was pretty happy with his decision to leave the United States and added that it had provided him a great deal of satisfaction.
He concluded by saying that he was quite satisfied with his decision. Because our ancestors had known one another for such a length of time, he emphasized how important it was that we treat one another with respect at all times. Our forefathers had known one another for a significant amount of time. You are able to watch the video of Lanny reading a poem that he recorded for my dad to give to him as a gift when it was announced that my dad would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020.
Lanny recorded the poem to give to my dad as a gift when it was announced that my dad would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. That video is available for viewing right here. I really hope that the death of Lanny finally grants him the serenity and calm that he has been searching for such a long time. During this sad time, I am keeping Lanny’s family and friends in my prayers and thinking of them. I pray that God would bless each of you. Please accept my condolences.
