John Wray Death, Obituary – We regret to inform you of the passing of John W. Wray Jr., who resided in Muncie, Indiana. It is with great sadness that we share this news with you. John was a native of Albany, Kentucky, and he passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 85. He was survived by family members and friends from near and far, all of whom are mourning his passing.

Before he was even born, both of his parents, John Wray and Della Wray, as well as both of his brothers, Ralph Wray and Don Wray, had already passed away. His names were chosen to honor members of his family who had passed away.

Phyllis J. Wray (Hibbard), his wife, his children Debbie Kapaun and Jan Wray, his grandchildren Danielle Smith, Drew Sayre, Meliah Wray, Ian Wray, Dainon Wray, and Natalie Wray, and his great-grandchildren Sawyer Smith and Sutton Smith, as well as his brother Jim Wray, are among those who are able to carry on his legacy. His great-grandchildren Sawyer and Sutton Smith are also able to carry on In addition, he has a sizeable brood of nieces and nephews that he will be leaving behind.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3rd 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 4th 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4th 2023. The memorial service will take place on the 4th of February in 2023 on a Saturday. A funeral service will be held at the Center Chapel Church on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at eleven in the morning. The date and time of the service have not yet been determined (900 W Royerton Rd, Muncie, IN 47303).
