Through humbling oneself before the majesty of God’s will, We are sorry to tell you that Houda Mahmoud Tarabay has died away.

He was a beloved community member and colleague. In spite of our most sincere condolences, we must share this news with you. 17th of July, 1926 – 27th of January, 2023 (inclusive) Im Amira, also known as Houda Mahmoud Tarabay, was a great woman who committed her life to her family in the roles of mother, aunt, and friend.

She was also known by both of these names. It was on January 27, 2023, in the city of New York, in the United States of America, that she passed away. Her loved ones in Brazil, Lebanon, and the United States will suffer a great loss without her presence in their lives.

The most of her life was spent in other countries. Interment and prayers will take place at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023. This will be followed by the burial in Ferncliff Cemetery from 2:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Ballard-Durand, which can be found at 10601 Maple Avenue in White Plains, New York, is a funeral home and crematory that provides its services.
