Hilary Alexander Obituary, Death – At the age of 77, Hilary Alexander, who was revered as a legendary figure in the field of fashion journalism, passed away. The socialite who is said to have been the person who first used the term “supermodel” is said to have passed away on the day that would have been her birthday. The New Zealand native, who describes herself as a workaholic and began her career in journalism at the age of 16 as a trainee writer at the Daily Telegraph, finally rose through the ranks of the publication to become the fashion editor there in the year 1985.

She remained employed at the newspaper for the subsequent 26 years, and in the year 2003, she was elevated to the post of fashion director at the publication. Hilary has been on various television programs on a regular basis during the course of her career. Some of these programs include Lorraine, GMTV, and BBC Breakfast. Hilary was held in extremely high esteem within the fashion industry, and she was featured in a variety of fashion-related shows and documentaries.
