George Ryan Death, Obituary – We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest condolences to George Ryan’s family in the wake of his unexpected passing yesterday. George was the much-loved patriarch of the Bogside Tours family, and we will miss him dearly. Bogside Tours had its start thanks to its namesake, George Ryan, who was also the company’s creator.

We have not only lost a fantastic tour guide for the City, but the Maldron has also lost such a wonderful friend who was always likely to call in for a pint and a nice discussion with everyone who works there. Not only is this a terrible loss for us, but it is a terrible loss for the Maldron as well. This is not only a horrible loss for us, but it is also a terrible loss for the Maldron.

We are all in this together. It is not just a terrible loss for us, but it is also a tragic loss for the entire city in its entirety. Because of the news of his departure, we are going through a period of tremendous mourning right now. I have no doubt that anyone who had the opportunity to interact with George would only have wonderful things to say about him and would be able to tell you some of the incredible stories that he shared with all of you.
