Donna Condron Death, Obituary – Ruth Chapman, Donna Chapman, and Ruth Chapman Costello and Condron This day will be February 4th, 2023. Donna Ruth Chapman Costello Condron, who had lived in the Nottingham all her life, passed away on February 4th, 2023. Donna Chapman spent the vast bulk of her life in the Central New York region; however, she did spend eighteen wonderful winters in The Villages in the state of Florida. Donna Chapman’s birth took place in Watertown, New York, and her parents are credited with being Donald and Ruth Chapman.
Donna went back to school after running a successful custom drapery business for thirty years in order to earn a bachelor’s degree in studio art from SUNY Cortland. Her alma mater is located in the state of New York. She went on to pursue additional schooling and in the end earned a Master of Art degree from Empire State College. Donna was a fervent lover of the arts and an ardent proponent of the idea that one should continue their education throughout their entire life.
Her all-time favorite pastimes include playing golf, tending to her garden, embroidering, painting, drawing, reading, and pretty much any other creative activity you can think of. Her handicrafts almost always possessed a one-of-a-kind look and feel about them. Donna placed a high value on her friendships and worked hard to cultivate deep connections with those she counted as her pals. Friendship was something that was very important to Donna. Both of Donna’s children, Kathleen Damon and Daniel P. Costello, as well as her husband, James H. Condron, both passed away before Donna did.
Donna was the last of her family members to pass away. Her family consists of her daughter, Patricia (Michael) Domres of Cicero, New York; her sons, Charles A. Costello, of Kirkville, New York, and Timothy E. (Valerie) Costello of Riverview, Florida; her eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; her brothers, Craig A. (Mary) Chapman of Liverpool, New York and Charles E. Chapman of Buffalo, New York, and their families; stepchildren; and her stepgrandchildren Carrie Hill, also known as Roger, from Bridgeport On Friday, February 10, there will be a visitation held at the R.H.
Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, which can be found in Minoa at 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd. The viewing will take place from 5 to 7 o’clock in the evening. The funeral liturgy will take place at St. Mary’s Church in Minoa, which can be found at 401 N. Main Street, on the morning of Saturday, February 11, at eleven in the morning. The subsequent service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa when it has concluded.
