Daniel Harrison Obituary, Death – November 24, 2022 Following a brief bout with illness, Daniel H. Harrison Jr., age 65, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at his house on Carter Lake in College Station. Landstuhl, Germany was the location of his birth on January 13, 1957. His parents were Daniel H. Harrison Sr. and Norma Ann Harrison. As a boy, he spent time growing up in Turkey, Italy, Baltimore, Maryland, and Salina, Kansas due to his father’s service in the Air Force.
After completing his secondary education in Misawa, Japan, he went on to complete his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1979 and stated that after that he never wanted to relocate again. In the city of Bryan, Texas, Dan spent many years of his career working in Industrial Distribution.
We lost a witty, clever, amusing, and odd component of our life when they passed away. Dan was an Eagle Scout who also held a private pilot certificate, had an interest in sailing, and was passionate about the weather. He spent a lot of time relaxing by Carter Lake, which was close to his home. He is survived by his wife Rosalie Nickles; his daughters Sawyer Clontz (Alex) of Asheville, North Carolina, and Jenna Rockett (Cameron) of Abilene; his granddaughter Kyler of Asheville, North Carolina; his good friends Ruth and Bill Watson of College Station; his brother Bradlee Harrison of Nyssa, Oregon; his sister Liza Harrison of Twin Falls, Idaho; his nieces and nephews; and his cherished Border Collie Sadie.
