When everyone got the sad and unexpected news that Cedric Oliver had passed away the previous week, they were taken completely by surprise. Cedric was an important character in the development of Christianity as a religion. He founded the Embassies of Christ Church in Calumet Township, and after he assumed leadership of the congregation, he served for a considerable length of time as the pastor of the church.
