Caroline Chadwick Obituary, Resident of Oakfield has passed Away – Death

Caroline Chadwick Death, Obituary –  Caroline Chadwick, who lived in Oakfield and was 88 years old when she was called home on January 29, 2023, was welcomed into the arms of her beloved Lord and Savior as she was brought into heaven. Carol Meyn, the daughter of Erich and Laura (Viehstedt) Meyn, entered this world on April 21st, 1934. Her mother’s maiden name was Laura (Viehstedt). She was a part of the Goodrich High School class that received their diploma in the year 1952. She tied the knot with Maynard Chadwick, Jr. on July 21, 1956, at Church of Peace, and the couple stayed married for more than 64 years, until his death on June 12, 2021.

They did everything in their power to bring up their children as a cohesive unit. Although Carol worked a job when she was younger, her primary and most important duty was that of a devoted housewife for her family. Although Carol had a career when she was younger, it was not her primary or most essential role. Despite the fact that she was employed when she was younger. She was a dedicated, kind, and generous friend, mother, grandma, and friend all rolled into one. She was all of these things at the same time. The delight of her life was spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Potato salad, lasagna, seven-layer salad, and pies were just some of the mouthwatering creations that she was famous for producing in the kitchen. Her potato salad was especially wonderful. Up until a few years ago, Mom looked forward to road trips with Dad that included riding her motorbike and snowmobile. Now, however, she no longer enjoys these kinds of excursions. In recent years, some of her favorite pleasures have included watching game shows and having the occasional bingo night with her close friend Jeanette Messner.

Jeanette Messner is one of her closest friends. She was quite faithful in her attendance at the services held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Deborah Clark of Oakfield, Sandy Ryan (Mark) Ryan of Oakfield, Craig Chadwick of Oakfield, and Todd Chadwick (Lori) Chadwick of Fond du Lac are Carol’s surviving children. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amber (Ryan) McMahon, Andrea Clark, Andy (Jenny) Chadwick, Johnna Ryan, Mitchell (Jordan) Chadwick, and Brett (Lisabeth) Ryan. Carol is also survived by
