This was a very unfortunate turn of events. His biological mother, Janice Rudder, and his father, Carl Capps III, as well as his stepfather, Mitchell Rudder Sr.
His stepbrother, Mitchell Rudder Jr., and his sister, Mashyia Rudder, as well as his aunt Charlette Humphrey and his uncle Ralph Humphry, all survive him.
