Betty Cleveland Obituary, Betty Cleveland Has Passed Away – Death

Betty Cleveland Death, Obituary – On Thursday night, our dearly loved Betty Cleveland passed away, and it is with a heavy heart that our family would like to share the news with all of you, our friends and family. We humbly beg that you continue to pray for us. The plans are still up in the air, and we will provide an update at a later time.

Betty attended Zion Lutheran Church in Lunenburg, where she served as a greeter for more than 10 years throughout her time as a member of the congregation. When Betty was younger, she worked as a waitress at Wong’s Restaurant in Lunenburg. It was there that she first met her future husband, John.

She worked at a variety of jobs over the years, including Bluenose Bowlarama, Bluenose Lodge, and Highliner Seafoods, in addition to providing housekeeping services for a number of local families during the course of her career. She was never idle. Betty managed to accomplish all of these tasks in addition to her commitments with the Lunenburg Sea Cadets, the Cub Scouts, and the care of her home and family, which included three young boys.

Betty is survived by her sons Bobby (Peggy), Clearland, John (Lorine), Onalaska, Washington, and Wayne, Lunenburg; her sister Pauline (Wayne) Weagle, Lunenburg; her sister-in-law Pauline Viddal, Blandford; her brothers-in-law Granville (Sharon) Cleveland, New Harbour, and Wilfred (Maritha) Cleveland, New Brunswick; her niece Lisa and her nephews Kenneth, Jamie

Her husband John, her sister Diane Keddy, her brother David Conrad, her sister-in-law Susan Conrad, and her aunt Leah Conrad all passed away before she did. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home can be found at 11213 Highway Number 3 in Lunenburg.

They are in charge of making funeral arrangements. On Friday, November 12, 2021, at three o’clock in the afternoon, a memorial ceremony for Betty will be place at Zion Lutheran Church in Lunenburg. Officiating at the event was Reverend Rick Pryce. After the service, interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lunenburg.
