Anne Loercher Obituary, Anne Loercher Has Passed Away – Death

Anne Loercher Death, Obituary – The death of Anne “Patches” Loercher took place early on Sunday morning. Her funeral ceremony will be held at the Community Church of the Nazarene in Merritt Island on Saturday, May 25 at 1pm. Please come with us if you would like to pay your respects to both her and her family.

Her funeral will begin at two in the afternoon. This event will take place at the Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln on Friday, March 29. The ceremonies will be presided over by the Reverends Rich Reinwald and Mark Hamner. The viewing will begin one hour before the service is scheduled to begin.

The funeral and burial will take place in the New Union Cemetery in Lincoln. Later in her career, Mrs. Loercher worked for State Farm Insurance Companies after spending several years as a teacher in the elementary grades.

She was born in Saybrook, Connecticut, on April 1st, 1905, to parents named Max R. and Louisa Hass Begolka. On December 18th, 1929, she tied the knot with Henry P. Loercher in Lincoln. Her passing came before his own. In addition, she was predeceased by her three brothers, Arthur, Walter, and Harry Begolka, as well as her four sisters, Rose (as an infant), Lillie Begolka, Emma (the wife of George) Opperman, and Dorothy (the wife of Vernet) Robinson.

Her brother Raymond (and his wife Evelyn) Begolka will carry on her legacy after her passing. Her many involvements in the community included roles as president of the Bloomington Regional Women’s Guild, secretary, publicity chairman, director, parliamentarian, chaplain, vice president, and president of the Bloomington Woman’s Club; board member of the YMCA and Miller Park Zoo; and vice president of the Bloomington Woman’s Club.
