Alan Grisham Death Obituary – Alan Wayne Grisham, who was a resident of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital on January 30, 2023. He was 66 years old at the time of his passing. Since the beginning of the year 2023, he had been a patient there.
His late parents, Kenneth Grisham and Beverly Grisham, welcomed him into the world on December 11th, 1956 in the city of Louisville, which is located in the state of Kentucky (Vincent). Since then, both of his parents have unfortunately passed away.
Alan was a member of the United States Army’s 101st Airborne Division for the duration of his time spent serving in the armed forces. Playing the guitar and watching the Andy Griffith show were two of his favorite things to do, despite the fact that he enjoyed doing a wide variety of activities.
Alan was a rabid supporter of both the Indiana University basketball team as well as the Indianapolis Colts football team. Alan is survived by his wife, Kathy Grisham; sons, Ryan and Brandon Grisham; stepson, David (Tamara) Tucker; brothers, Kenny (Ladonna) and Jason (Christine) Grisham; sister, Annette Grisham; and grandchildren, Lillian and Lydia Tucker.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Grisham. Kenneth Grisham, Alan’s father, passed away before him. He was predeceased by his father. Alan Grisham’s father, Kenneth, had already passed away when Alan was born. It was his father who passed away before him.
Alan Grisham’s brother Timothy Grisham passed away before Alan himself, following in the footsteps of both of Alan’s parents as well as other members of the family. Alan Grisham was the author of the Grisham novels. The Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel in Evansville is located at 800 S. Hebron Ave., and will be the location of the visitation that will take place on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
His brother, Kenneth Grisham Jr., will preside as the minister over the funeral services, which will take place at the funeral home beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon. The services will begin.
